"You can start with clean or dirty hair," said Nora, Elie Esper Salon's stylist. "The best tip is to put a little wax on your fingertips and warm it up before braiding. This helps your fingers grip the hair more easily and helps you achieve a tighter braid. Always tease the hair a little at the roots before braiding," she said. "This will help create a little volume so your braid isn't completely flat against your head."
The salon has a "Braid Menu" filled with images of this latest trend for you to choose from. Whether is a last minute, spontaneous engagement, a day out on the town or special event, you can come in and get braided by one of our expert stylists in a glance!
